Lyja is property of MARVEL and DISNEY not me, so please don't sue!

I've always thought it was a shame just how underrated Lyja is. She started out as yet another Skrull sent to make life miserable for The Fantastic Four by disguising herself as Alicia Masters who was kidnapped by her people so she could appear to be dating The Ever Lovin' Blue-Eyed Thing just like the REAL Alicia Masters while in reality she was spying on The F.F. in order to make the next encounter The Skrulls had with them more likely to end in favor of The Skrulls! However, The Thing was not around at the time so she started dating The Human Torch in order to keep The F.F. from suspecting why she was still around despite the fact that The Thing wasn't. At first, NOBODY so much as became even remotely skeptical because it seemed like Alicia had simply moved on and fallen in love with someone else! But when it was revealed that Lyja was indeed a Skrull agent the situation escalated until The F.F. finally realized that whatever their feelings toward Lyja she was the only one who knew exactly where Alicia was being held in stasis and was willing to show them how to break her free so even though The F.F. were afraid to trust her, they felt that she was still their best bet and were on their way to save Alicia and worry about what to do with Lyja later... Unfortunately, Alicia was being guarded by PAIBOK, THE POWER SKRULL! This guy was ruthless, arrogant and deadly! A combination that NOBODY should have to mess with, not even The Fantastic Four! And this is coupled with the fact that he had all the same shape-shifting powers of a regular Skrull AND the ability to mimic the powers of various members of THE X-MEN! Luckily, with Lyja's help, The F.F. was able to find Alicia Masters and free her from the stasis she'd been held prisoner in. Sadly, before they all could escape, Lyja used her shape-shifting powers to become an extremely durable alien creature and jumped in front of an energy blast Paibok aimed at The Human Torch he claimed was powerful to kill just about ANYTHING THAT LIVES! It seemed he was not just bragging when Lyja appeared to be dying in The Human Torch's arms with nobody knowing for sure if lived long enough to hear him tell her he forgave her and still cared for her in spite of everything that happened... Unable to find time to give her a decent burial, The F.F. retreated before the Skrulls could overwhelm them with sheer numbers and went back to Planet Earth with Alicia only to discover some time later that Lyja had somehow survived and would encounter The F.F. many more times. Sadly she has yet to become so much as a RESERVE member as of yet, but you never know when that can change...

I wanted to draw Lyja as if she's thinking of going back to the Fantastic Four's home base but not sure if she'll be welcome there so she's hesitating. I might draw more of her sometime I'm not sure...
